GREYHAWK provided the Medford Township Board of Education management services throughout this aggressive expansion program to increase capacity throughout the district.  Services started with assistance in preparation of referendum questions and continued through design/pre-construction and construction.  Finally, GREYHAWK worked with the Board of Education staff to organize and prepare NJSCC Section 15 Grant Reimbursement applications.

GREYHAWK managed a total of 29 construction contracts under this program.  Every single project was completed under budget with less than 2% changes, without claims or litigation and opened for classes on time.

Special attention was paid to future maintenance and operating costs.  Projects included the installation of geothermal based HVAC systems, high efficiency electrical transformers and high efficiency chillers and cooling towers.  The new facilities were built using long life, low maintenance materials.

Some of the projects included in the program were:

• Construction of two new state of the art elementary schools - Kirby's Mill Elementary School (photo above), and Chairville Elementary School

• Conversion of Haines Elementary School adjacent to the middle school into a 6th Grade Center

• Renovations and improvements to the three other existing elementary schools and the middle school.

• Construction of a new transportation and maintenance center
